This pleasing and flavoursome Cobber Bread Machine Loaf recipe, made using our Cobber Flour is ideal for making wholesome sandwiches or a great accompaniment to a hearty soup or stew.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp quick yeast (we like to use Doves Farm)
- 500g Wessex Mill Cobber Bread Flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 340ml water
- 1 tbsp oil
Equipment
- 1 bread machine with large bread pan
Method
-
Put the ingredients into the bread machine pan in the order recommended by the machine manufacturer or the order given in the ingredients list.
-
Turn the machine to the wholewheat rapid bread setting.
-
Select your preferred crust option if available.
-
Check the pan is locked into position and start the machine.
-
Remove the bread pan from the machine as soon as it has finished baking. This is important, as if left in the machine it can sink in the middle.
-
Tip the bread out of the pan and remove the mixer paddle from the bottom of the loaf.
-
Cool the bread on a wire rack.
